LibreOffice Calc

Use Calc exports with the same Chokmi bridge.

LibreOffice support stays portable today by exporting the sheet to .xlsx or .csv and importing it through Spreadsheet Bridge.

Walkthrough

Five-step LibreOffice import

Bring your LibreOffice Calc sheet into Chokmi, then continue with mapping, coding, and analysis in the web Research Studio.

Open the target sheet in LibreOffice Calc

Identify the sheet that has the responses, codes, or participant data you want to bring across.

Save as .xlsx or .csv

Use File → Save As and pick Excel 2007–365 (.xlsx) or Text CSV (.csv). Both formats are accepted by the Chokmi import pipeline.

Open Spreadsheet Bridge in Chokmi

The bridge is the canonical entry point for non-native spreadsheet apps and is where your LibreOffice export lands first.

Pick the survey and keep source app set to LibreOffice export

Even though the file is now .xlsx or .csv, leaving source app as LibreOffice export preserves provenance in the operating record.

Upload and continue into Import Studio

Upload the file, review the preview output, and continue into Import Studio for deeper mapping work or schema review.

Constraint

One important note

Important

.ods files are not ingested directly in the current bridge. Export to .xlsx or .csv first. The exported file keeps all your column data, and the bridge maps it back into the Chokmi schema during import.
